KINETIC SAXONY SCULPTURE
LANDTAG NRW VISITOR CENTER EXHIBITION
Since August 28, 2014, visitors to the State Museum for Archeology Chemnitz – smac for short – are able to experience the show mode of the time-dynamic Saxony sculpture. Every hour, the sculptural landscape model of the Free State hanging in the museum foyer floats through the three exhibition levels. During the ten-minute drive, a film is projected and precisely mapped onto the model that shows an artistic and aesthetic implementation of the development of Saxon cultural history. At eight interactive stations, the visitor can interact with the kinetic sculpture and project content onto the large map of Saxony
